Management Team

Andrew Lutts
CEO

As CEO and founder of Net Atlantic, Andy is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the company. Since Andy founded Net Atlantic in 1995, the company has become one of the premier companies in America offering both Email Newsletter Hosting and Web Hosting services. With customers the world over, Andy is driven to provide value and quality services to those who choose to do business with them. Andy's main focus is to deliver services to the customer to help them grow their business online.

Andy brings his experience to Net Atlantic as the former VP of Cabot Money Management, where he managed the IT efforts and Internet based transactions with various financial institutions. He also helped grow the company to over ten times the size in eight years. Before that, Andy worked in Sales and Marketing for a manufacturing company, and helped with new product development and product launches.

Andy received his Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Professional Writing. He is active in many community groups, including the Salem Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors 1993-2006), and the Enterprise Center at Salem State College (Board of Directors 2006-present), and the Association for the Spirit at Work. Andy's interests include hiking and boating, as well as Spirituality and quantum theory.

Wesley Owen
Vice President

Wes has focused on the technology side of the business since he joined Net Atlantic, in 1996. He is responsible for all the IT, hosting operations and managing the technical groups at Net Atlantic. He strives to ensure that Net Atlantic provides best in class mailing list and web hosting services to clients. Wes stays heavily involved in developments in security, SPAM fighting and web technologies.

Wes holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He is a member of the Association of Computer Machinery.

During his free time, Wes enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, skiing, and digital photography.

Mariflor Maulit Uva
Vice President Finance & Administration

Mariflor has been an employee of Net Atlantic since 1997. As Vice President of Finance & Administration, she directs all of the company's financial activities and company-wide strategies, and she is responsible for the budgeting and financial reporting, as well as cost proposal development and profit and business analysis. She also supervises the company's billing department, human resources and office administration.

Prior to Net Atlantic, Mariflor worked in resource development for the Archdiocese of Boston and other non-profit organizations. She received her Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor's Degree from Boston College.

Mariflor is an active member of the North Shore Women in Business Association (Board of Directors, Treasurer), Kiwanis (Board of Directors, Public Relations Chair), Salem Chamber of Commerce and Finance Council at St. James Parish in Salem. She recently started a school program for poor children in a rural area of the Philippines, her former homeland, offering the opportunity for these children to focus on learning by providing the basic needs of food and school supplies.

Mariflor's favorite pastimes include spending time with her family, traveling around the world, visiting art galleries and participating in art auctions, planning and taking retreats, and walking.

 

Shane P. McCarthy
Sales & Marketing Manager

Shane is the newest member of the management team. He oversees the Sales and Marketing departments at Net Atlantic, and focuses on driving the continued aggressive growth strategy of the company. Additionally, he is focused on new product introduction including Net Atlantic's new Email Marketing Reseller Program, and the best-in-class robust Enterprise List Hosting offering.

Shane brings a wealth of knowledge in this area from his vast sales and marketing management background. His past experience consists of companies in the software, telecommunications, and audio visual world. Shane has work experience in both the US and abroad growing successful sales and marketing teams.

Mr. McCarthy received his Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State College in Business Management with a minor in Psychology. He is actively pursuing his MBA at Bentley College.

He has been involved in Tae Kwon Do for 27 plus years, has been a Eucharistic Minister for 22 plus years, and has had a "little brother" for 7 years with Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay. Shane is an active member of International Facilities Management Association. He has traveled to 6 of the 7 continents, enjoys skiing, snowboarding, along with various other sports, and automotive consulting.
