Email Marketing Reseller Edition FAQ

1. How can I create additional mailing lists?

When you initially access your reseller account you will be prompted to add your first mailing list. To create additional lists, follow these steps.

  1. Credit cards based in the U.S. are charged on the fourth of every month
  2. Credit cards based outside the U.S. are charged on the third of every month
  3. If a credit card is declined, Net Atlantic will attempt to charge it a maximum of three times, every six days.

To change between lists, click on the list name on the top corner of the control panel. This will display the change list window.

2. When our customers receive emails, whose brand is in the email?

You can customize the email footer in your mailings once you have signed up for your reseller account by submitting a request to change it to our support team. They will then assist you in tailoring this featureto your brand.

3. What is the reseller payment process?

Setup fees must be paid prior to account activation. Invoices for monthly charges are sent out on the first day of the month for service in the previous month. Credit cards set for recurring payments will be charged automatically as follows:

  • Credit cards based in the U.S. are charged on the fourth of every month
  • Credit cards based outside the U.S. are charged on the third of every month
  • If a credit card is declined, Net Atlantic will attempt to charge it a maximum of three times, every six days.

Other payment methods are billed on net 30 day terms.

4. When is the eligible discount applied to our reseller account?

Eligible email marketing reseller discounts will be deducted from the combined revenue of all lists on each reseller account. The total charges on your monthly invoice will reflect any applicable savings.

5. Do you offer a free trial for your reseller service?

We do not offer a reseller free trial, but you can access all email marketing features through our Professional or Enterprise free trial. This free trial functions like a reseller account, except it cannot be branded and additional lists cannot be added or deleted.

For a more comprehensive review of our reseller services, you can also schedule a live demo by contacting an account executive.

6. How soon can we be up and running?

Set up takes only a few hours. When Net Atlantic receives and processes your application, agreement, and billing information, our support department will activate your account and email you the information you need to get started.

7. What is the difference between the Professional and Enterprise Reseller service levels?

For a complete list of Professional and Enterprise Level Email Marketing features and benefits review the service level comparison chart. With Net Atlantic's Agency and Reseller Account you have the option to choose between Professional and Enterprise levels when adding new lists to your account. To select your service level preferences, refer to the Topic/Site: dropdown menu when adding a new list.

8. In the email headers, is it possible to change the server and brand it with our own server name?

Yes, for most reseller account holders. The list unsubscribe header, unsubscribe URL header, and tracking hyperlinks will use your branded virtual server name (server.yourdomain.com). This is included at no cost as a feature of your reseller account.

However, changing the received line requires signing up for a dedicated IP address at a cost of $100 per month. For more information on a dedicated IP address contact an account executive.

9. Your terms say that we can charge customers any monthly fee we choose. How are those billed?

Net Atlantic does not bill your customers. Reseller account holders are invoiced for the combined revenue of all lists on their accounts. They are then responsible for invoicing customers directly, giving them the option of setting their own prices.

10. Who provides tech support to our customers?

Net Atlantic will provide you with access to its HDI-certified technical support team, but you will be responsible for providing technical support to your customers.
