Net Atlantic Volunteers Clean Dead Horse Beach in Salem, MA
Salem, MA – June 18, 2013 – As part of Net Atlantic's commitment to making a difference to the community, a team of volunteer employees headed to Dead Horse Beach in Salem, Massachusetts on Thursday, May 30, 2013 to help clean it up and make it safer for beachgoers in the approaching summer months.
The group picked up approximately 10 bags worth of trash, broken glass, and other debris, and removed it all from the beach.
"Net Atlantic is proud to serve the needs of the local community through activities like this one," said Andrew Lutts, Net Atlantic's, Founder and CEO. "Our beach clean-up event shows that when we work together, we can make a difference."
Dead Horse Beach is part of the Salem Willows neighborhood and amusement park. Shaded by the white willow trees it was named for, the park has been a family-friendly summer destination for locals and tourists alike since the mid-1800s.
The event was organized by Net Atlantic's Volunteer and Entertainment Committees, which host quarterly events to support the Salem and North Shore communities.
