Comprehensive New Interest Tracking Features Announced

November 6, 2014 - Net Atlantic announced today the availability of Interest Tracking in its flagship expert email marketing solution.

The Interest Tracking feature set adds the ability to follow people around your web site as a result of receiving and clicking on an email marketing message sent through the Net Atlantic system. When an email subscriber clicks on a link in your email message, they are accurately tracked as they visit and click through various web pages on your web site. There are no limits to the amount of web pages or web page tracking that can occur with the Interest Tracking solution. Interest Tracking in email gives the sender intelligence far beyond just opens and clicks. It allows the email marketer to gain insight and learn where the person is visiting on their web site, in what order, and other additional metrics. The Interest Tracking feature allows for deep insight as to subscriber and buyer interest, and helps the email marketer generate higher rates of response and subsequent purchases or engagement.

Interest Tracking uses clickstreams, which is a record of a user's activity on the Internet, including every Web site and every page of every Web site that the user visits, how long the user was on a page or site, in what order the pages were visited, and even the e-mail addresses of mail that the user sends and receives.

Coupled with Purchase Tracking, Interest Tracking gives the email marketer a powerful new tool for generating the highest levels of response from their email marketing.
